what should i do about suspected cheating boyfriend?

what would you think if your girlfriend or boyfriend was myspace messageing another girl or boy about whether or not they are single… and if they want to go out to lunch sometime??? would you think he or she was cheating on you??? or that they were just friends??? if the person you were dating asked the other person those questions what would you think was going on??? be honest please!! i need your help.
